Ean 8, Ean 13.
  • Numeric code consisting of the digits 0 to 9.
  • Each character includes 11 elements.
  • All bars and spaces contain information.

    Ean 8 is smaller and shortened version of Ean 13. Requires 8 digits, last digit is checksum.

    ADD2 and ADD5 are add-ons for UPC and EAN codes. ADD2 is a two digit add-on; ADD5 is a five digit add-on.

     Advantages :     High information density in 10 different sizes
     Disadvantages :Very low print tolerance
